Medical Malpractice Litigation Study

The financial and emotional cost of malpractice litigation has become a critical burden for physicians and medical facilities nationwide.

We know that it is not just medical error that leads to litigation.  There are other factors that need to be more clearly deliniated.

Our study, funded by the University of Tampa and in cooperation with The Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Society and The Florida Chapter of the American College of Cardiology is designed to help clarify those factors.

As a physician, you can help by giving 15 minutes of your time to complete an anonymous assessment and survey.  (There are incentives at the end.)

Please go to the "MDsurvey" page link at the top.

You Can be Part of the Solution

With the information from this study we hope to provide you with specific and measurable factors that can help you as a practicing physician to:

*   Decrease risk of lawsuits
*   Improve patient compliance
*   Grow your practices
*   Achieve higher patient satisfaction levels

The areas we are looking at have had a significant impact on client relationships in the business world.
With your cooperation we will be able examine their applicability in the medical field.

To participate now, go to the MDsurvey page of this web site.

If you are not a member of the OB/GYN or cardiology associations listed above, but would like your organization of physicians to participate in ongoing studies, contact Terry Watson at
